How to eliminate diabetes?

My sugar levels have been high for a while now, and the doctor said it's pre-diabetes. I'm really scared of it turning into full-blown diabetes. Is there any way to eliminate it completely?

Eliminating diabetes often depends on the type. For Type 2, lifestyle changes can make a HUGE difference. I've seen people significantly improve their condition with regular exercise, like brisk walking for at least 30-45 minutes daily, and a controlled diet. Always talk to your doctor about what exercise is safe for you.

Be very, very careful about any claims of 'eliminating' diabetes, especially online. There's a lot of misinformation out there. Diabetes is a serious condition that needs proper medical management. Always, always verify any information or treatment plan with a qualified doctor or endocrinologist before trying anything.

Beta, with diabetes, it's about managing it with discipline and a positive mind. Don't let it become a source of stress. Regular check-ups, taking your medicines on time, eating healthy, and trying to stay calm helps a lot. Focus on keeping your body and mind healthy, and accept what needs to be managed.

Eliminating diabetes completely, especially Type 1, isn't typically possible, it's about lifelong management. For Type 2 diabetes, significant lifestyle modifications, especially at the early stage, can sometimes lead to remission. This involves a very controlled diet, regular physical activity, and losing excess weight. Crucially, all this must be done under strict medical supervision and advice from your doctor.

It really depends on the type of diabetes. For Type 2, sometimes early stages can be reversed with drastic lifestyle changes like weight loss and diet. But it needs consistent effort and strict medical supervision. Definitely not something to self-treat. Please consult an endocrinologist for proper guidance.
