How to eat liver?

My doctor recommended I include liver in my diet for iron deficiency. I've never really cooked it before. How do you usually prepare and eat liver in a way that's tasty and nutritious?

Oh, liver is super healthy, I know! I've been researching recipes. I think a simple pan-fried liver with lots of garlic and ginger, maybe a squeeze of lemon, would be good. Or a rich liver masala curry with lots of gravy. It sounds like it could be very flavourful if cooked right.

Liver is very nutrient-dense, especially high in iron and Vitamin A. For eating, it's best to cook it gently to keep it tender. You can sauté it with onions and spices, make a dry curry, or add it to mince preparations. Just be careful with portion sizes due to the high Vitamin A content; moderation is key.

As a vegetarian, I don't eat liver, but I understand it's a good source of iron. For those who eat non-veg, I've heard that soaking it in milk or citrus can help with the strong taste. It's often used in rich curries or lightly pan-fried. Just be mindful of sourcing good quality, fresh liver.

Namaste! Liver is very nutritious. A common way is to make a liver fry or curry. First, clean it well and marinate it in ginger-garlic paste and some vinegar or lemon juice to reduce the strong smell. Then cook it quickly on medium heat with lots of onions and tomatoes till tender. Don't overcook, otherwise it becomes hard.

I had low iron a while back, and my doc suggested including liver in my diet. My mom makes a killer chicken liver masala. She marinates it with curd and spices, then cooks it with a thick onion-tomato gravy. It tastes amazing and totally covers any 'livery' flavour. It really helped me get my iron levels up.

Liver? If it gives me enough iron to actually wake up in the morning, I'm all for it! 😂 My mom used to make liver fry, and it was actually quite tasty with lots of onions and green chillies. It needs good spices, otherwise, it can be a bit... livery.

I track my macros and micros, and liver is a powerhouse for iron and B vitamins. You can easily integrate it into your diet. I prefer a quick stir-fry with lots of veggies and light soy sauce, keeps it lean. Or you can mince it and add it to a healthy meatloaf. Just keep portion sizes in check, as it's nutrient-dense.

I want to try eating liver for its health benefits, but I'm worried about the taste and texture. Has anyone tried masking the strong flavour effectively? And is there a specific way to prepare it so it's not too tough? I just get anxious about trying new, strong-tasting foods.

Hey! My grandmother always said liver is very good for health. She used to make a simple sukha liver fry with lots of ginger, garlic, and black pepper. It was actually super tasty! You can also add small pieces to your regular chicken curry if you're not a fan of the strong taste.
