How to ease vomiting?

Been feeling very nauseous all day after eating something outside, and now I've thrown up a couple of times. Is there anything simple I can do to calm my stomach down? It's making me feel quite weak.

When you are vomiting, your body loses a lot of fluids, so rest is absolutely essential. Don't try any exercise or heavy movement right now. Just rest in a well-ventilated room and focus on staying hydrated with ORS once your stomach settles down.

Look, if you are vomiting continuously, stop eating solid food completely for a few hours. Just sip on some electro water or coconut water very slowly, spoon by spoon. If it doesn't stop after 3-4 times, don't sit at home, go straight to a clinic.

Please sit under a cool fan and try to rest your head. Taking tiny sips of fresh lemon water with a bit of black salt usually helps settle the stomach very nicely. Take care of yourself, and don't worry, you will feel better soon.

For mild nausea or vomiting, a simple home-made ORS solution with water, a pinch of salt, and sugar is the most affordable way to prevent dehydration. There is no need to run for expensive tests immediately. But if the vomiting is continuous and you can't keep fluids down, do see a local doctor.

Vomiting is your body's dramatic way of saying it didn't like what you ate! Just lie down, stay close to a bucket just in case, and sip some ORS like it's a fancy cocktail. You'll be back to eating normally in a couple of days, don't worry!

Sip some ginger water or suck on a lemon piece to calm your stomach temporarily. Keep your meals extremely light, like plain rice water or khichdi, once you feel better. If it persists, just call a doctor and get an antiemetic prescribed.
