How to ease tooth decay pain?

I've been neglecting my teeth a bit, and now one of them has started paining really badly, I suspect it's due to decay. The pain is constant and sharp. What are some ways to ease this tooth decay pain until I can see a dentist?

Ah, tooth decay pain is absolute torture, I feel you buddy! Don't stress too much tonight, just keep your head elevated while sleeping to reduce the throbbing. Try to put a small piece of clove on it for temporary relief and see a dentist tomorrow.

Managing thyroid conditions often taught me that dry mouth and dental issues can sometimes be linked to our systemic health and medications. If you have chronic tooth decay, please get regular checkups with both your dentist and physician. Getting routine tests helps manage overall health much better.

Let's be clear, decay means the tooth structure is physically damaged, and no home remedy is going to reverse that. Warm salt water will only numb the pain for a bit. You need to visit a dental surgeon, get an X-ray, and get a proper filling or root canal done.

Chronic dental pain can actually elevate your blood pressure due to stress and lack of sleep, which I experienced firsthand. It is vital to get regular dental and lifestyle checkups to keep everything in balance. Please get the tooth treated by a dentist to avoid unnecessary physical stress.

Tooth decay pain is terrible, I totally agree. Please go to a dentist and don't rely only on cloves.

Any pain due to decay indicates that the tooth's inner nerves are getting irritated or infected. It is highly unsafe to keep managing this with home remedies because the infection can spread to the jawbone. Please visit a qualified dental clinic for a proper checkup.

At my age, I have had my share of dental issues and fillings. Back in the day, we used to rinse with warm saline water to clean the area and soothe the ache temporarily. Do not worry, dental procedures have become very painless now, so visit a doctor soon.
