How to ease teething pain in infants?

My 6-month-old baby just started teething, and she's very irritable and crying a lot, especially at night. I've tried a few things, but nothing seems to give her much relief. Any safe and effective ways to ease teething pain in infants?

Look, teething is a natural process, so don't panic or run for heavy medicines. Just give the baby a clean, cold silicone teether to bite on. Keep wiping the drool from their face with a soft cloth so they don't get painful rashes.

Haan na, babies get so cranky and irritated during teething, it is really hard to watch. Gently rubbing their gums with a clean, cool damp hanky helps them feel much better. Just make sure the hanky is super clean, ho na.

While cold washcloths and refrigerated teethers are excellent safe options, please avoid teething necklaces or over-the-counter numbing gels containing benzocaine. If the baby is in severe pain or has a high fever, it is best to consult your paediatrician for the correct dosage of paracetamol.

I saw my sister struggle so much with her baby's teething phase. She used to give the baby cold apple slices inside a silicone mesh feeder, which was a lifesaver. It keeps them distracted and cools down their sore gums safely.

I agree with using chilled teething rings. Putting them in the fridge for just half an hour makes a huge difference in calming a fussy baby down.

When my daughter was teething, she completely stopped eating her warm meals. I started offering her cold yogurt and chilled fruit purees, which she absolutely loved because it didn't hurt her sensitive gums. Just cuddle them a lot, they need extra comfort right now.
