How to ease tailbone pain?

Been having this persistent tailbone pain for a few weeks now, especially when I sit for long periods. It's really bothering me at work. What can I do to relieve this pain, maybe some stretches or home remedies?

I had terrible tailbone pain from sitting on my office chair for 9 hours straight. The only thing that worked for me was buying a donut-shaped cushion so my tailbone didn't touch the seat directly. Also, try leaning forward slightly when you sit to take the pressure off.

To help reduce inflammation in the body naturally, I make sure to include plenty of anti-inflammatory foods like turmeric and ginger in my regular vegetarian meals. Drinking warm turmeric milk at night can help soothe internal muscle aches. But definitely use a soft cushion for physical comfort.

Please be very careful with tailbone pain; I ignored a dull ache for weeks and it turned out to be a pilonidal sinus that eventually needed surgical drainage. If you notice any swelling, redness, or if the pain is getting worse when you walk, go see an orthopaedic doctor or surgeon immediately.

Don't stress, this kind of pain is usually just a mild muscle strain or posture issue from long sitting hours. Take some hot fermentation or a warm bath to relax the area, and avoid sitting on hard surfaces completely for a few days. You will be absolutely fine, just give it some rest.

I completely understand how frustrating and scary tailbone pain can be, especially when it makes simple things like sitting or standing up so painful. I used to worry it was a spinal issue and got so anxious. Applying an ice pack for 15 minutes really helped numb the sharp ache for me.

Because of my diabetes, nerve issues can sometimes cause referred pain, so I always keep my blood sugar under strict control to help my body heal from any inflammation. If you are diabetic too, make sure your sugars are normal because high sugar delays healing of any deep tissue or bone strain.
