I know how terrifying severe stomach pain can feel, especially when you start overthinking and googling symptoms. Take a deep breath first and try to sit in a comfortable position. If the pain is sharp, constant, or makes you feel nauseous, please go to a clinic to put your mind at ease.

For mild stomach upsets, my mother always suggests drinking buttermilk with curry leaves and ginger. However, if the pain is severe and continuous, we must not rely on home remedies. It is always best to visit a doctor immediately to check for any infection or underlying issues.

When you have severe stomach pain, wasting time on internet tips is highly impractical. It could be food poisoning, kidney stones, or appendicitis, all of which need quick medical attention. Skip the home remedies, take a sick leave, and visit a general physician immediately.

I had a massive scare with severe abdominal pain last month and rushed to the hospital thinking it was appendicitis, but it turned out to be just intense gas and acidity. Don't panic too much, but definitely get it checked by a doctor just to be completely sure and get the right treatment.

I am feeling a very sharp pain in the lower right side of my stomach since morning and I am a bit scared. Is it normal to have this kind of pain, or should I tell my parents and go to the hospital right away? Any advice would help.

This is what happens when we overindulge in spicy street food or heavy biryanis late at night! Usually, a simple cup of warm water or some mint tea helps settle the stomach. But honestly, if the pain is severe and not just a food reaction, better skip the spices and see a doctor.
