How to ease period stomach pain?

My periods are usually quite painful, especially the stomach cramps. I've tried a few things, but they don't always help much. What are some effective ways to ease period stomach pain?

For my period cramps, I usually drink warm ginger tea and curl up with a heating pad on my stomach. It really helps soothe the muscle contractions. I try to avoid very cold drinks during those first two days as well.

Hot fermentation is excellent for increasing blood flow and relaxing the uterine muscles. If the pain is still unbearable, a basic antispasmodic tablet can help, but do consult a doctor once to know which tablet suits you best. Avoid skipping meals, even if you feel bloated.

Between my late-night work shifts and these monthly cramps, sleep has left the chat. I basically survive on hot water bags, dark chocolate, and silent crying under my blanket. Honestly, just sleeping it off is the best cure if your schedule actually allows it.

Haan, period cramps are literally the worst! Mere saath bhi yahi hota hai, so I just make a strong cup of adrak wali chai and use my electric heating bag. Aur thoda rest kiya karo na, don't force yourself to do heavy work on day one.

Ugh, trying to sit through a 2-hour college lecture with period pain is a different kind of torture. I usually carry those portable heat patches that stick to your clothes inside. They keep your tummy warm on the go and are a total lifesaver during exams.

I am quite young and I get really bad cramps during my cycle, which makes me feel very weak. My mother gives me warm ajwain water, which helps a little bit. Does anyone else get very bad back aches along with the stomach pain, or should I be worried?

Drinking warm milk with a pinch of turmeric or having hot herbal teas can bring down the bloating and pain naturally. However, if you are experiencing excessive bleeding or pain that doesn't let you stand up, please do not home-treat it. Go to a good doctor immediately.

Listen, don't stress too much about getting everything done today, just take a break! Put on your favorite show, get your heating pad ready, and maybe sip some warm soup. Your body is doing a lot of work right now, so treat yourself gently.
