How to ease invisalign pain?

I just got my Invisalign aligners adjusted, and now my teeth are feeling quite sore and painful. It's tough to eat anything hard. Is there anything I can do to ease Invisalign pain?

My sister was complaining about her new aligners hurting her gums last month, and my mother suggested drinking cold tender coconut water to soothe the mouth. While that cooling drink helped her feel better, we also consulted her orthodontist who adjusted the sharp edges of the tray thoda. Please talk to your doctor if the pain is too sharp.

Invisalign pain is so annoying yaar, especially during the first two days of a new tray. Actually, putting the new set in right before going to sleep helps because you sleep through the initial pressure. Just drink cold water to numb the soreness thoda.

Don't try to file or cut the Invisalign plastic yourself based on random internet tutorials, as you can ruin the alignment structure completely. If the aligners are causing severe bleeding or cuts inside your cheek, go back to your orthodontist immediately. Let the professionals handle any adjustments for your safety.

My orthodontist explained that the pain is just a sign that the trays are actively moving your teeth into place. He advised using orthodontic wax on any sharp edges of the plastic that scrape the gums. He also mentioned that mild over-the-counter pain relief can be taken during the first day of a tray swap if it's very uncomfortable.

Having dealt with body sensitivities and inflammation due to PCOS, I understand how frustrating constant oral pain can be. I don't want to suggest any strong remedies, but keeping your diet very soft during tray changes can really help. Please check in with your dentist to ensure everything is progressing safely.
