How to ease indigestion pain?

After eating a heavy meal last night, I've been having terrible indigestion pain, a burning sensation in my stomach. It's very uncomfortable and keeps coming and going. How can I ease this indigestion pain quickly?

Don't worry, indigestion pain usually settles down in a little while. Sip some warm water and avoid lying down completely flat right after eating. If the pain gets very sharp or is accompanied by sweating or chest discomfort, let me know and we will go straight to the doctor.

Hey, don't stress too much, we have all been there after eating a bit too much heavy food. Just drink some warm water slowly or have a cup of warm chamomile tea, it really helps to calm the stomach. Lie down with your head elevated a bit and take it easy.

That extra plate of pani puri seemed like a great idea at 8 PM, but my stomach is definitely protesting now! I am currently pacing around my room like a security guard to help digestion. Just walk slowly for 10 minutes and avoid eating anything else tonight!

My health app always suggests sitting in Vajrasana (thunderbolt pose) for 5-10 minutes after meals to help improve blood flow to the digestive system. It actually works wonders for mild bloating and discomfort. Make sure to keep your dinner light and track if certain foods trigger this often.

It is 2 AM and my burning stomach has decided that sleep is for the weak. I have just been sitting upright and drinking cold milk, hoping my digestive system forgives me for my life choices. Definitely getting a doctor's advice tomorrow if this keep-me-awake pain happens again.
