Ensuring a balanced, anti-inflammatory diet with plenty of turmeric and green vegetables can support joint health over time. While you work on your diet, try placing a pillow between your knees when sleeping on your side to keep your hips aligned. If the pain persists, please seek professional medical advice.

I know how exhausting it is when you can't even get a peaceful night's sleep because of constant hip pain. It's completely normal to feel frustrated and worried about it. Just try changing your sleeping position tonight, and speak to a doctor tomorrow to get some clarity.

Sleeping with a pillow tucked between your legs is an absolute game-changer for hip pain! It keeps everything aligned so you can sleep peacefully. Try it tonight and hope you wake up feeling much better!

Hip pain that wakes you up from sleep or prevents you from resting should never be ignored. It could be due to bursitis or joint issues that need medical attention. Please get it checked by a doctor for safety rather than waiting for it to resolve on its own.

With an early morning commute, sleep disruption is something I simply cannot afford. If a pillow between your knees doesn't improve your hip pain within two nights, don't waste time trying endless sleep positions. Book a proper orthopedic consultation immediately to get a professional solution.

When my hip pain started disrupting my sleep, I went to a senior joint specialist at Fortis Hospital. He did a physical exam and clearly explained that sleeping on a very soft bed was worsening the joint inflammation. I highly recommend consulting an orthopedic specialist clearly to get the right diagnosis.

At my age, I have realized that our old spring mattresses are often the main culprits behind bad hip and back pain during sleep. Swapping to a firm, supportive mattress made a world of difference for me. Don't worry, these aches are common and can be managed easily with proper support and a doctor's guidance.

I have recently started experiencing a dull ache in my left hip only when I lie down on that side. Does this mean my mattress is too hard, or could it be some muscle strain that I didn't notice during the day?

I used to wake up with terrible hip stiffness every night. What helped me personally was sleeping on my back with a pillow under my knees to relieve the lower back and hip pressure. I would suggest talking to an orthopedist to find the actual cause of your discomfort.

Having dealt with pelvic and lower back discomfort due to PCOS, I know how complicated joint pain can be. I don't want to suggest any specific remedies because everyone's body structure is so unique. Please be gentle with your body and discuss this with your gynecologist or a physiotherapist.

My hip decided to start acting like it is 80 years old every time I try to sleep! I have surrounded myself with four pillows now, looking like I am sleeping in a fort. Try the pillow trick tonight, and if you still feel like an old rusty gate, go see a doctor!

Please keep a positive mind and do not let this physical pain disturb your mental peace. Try doing some gentle, slow deep breathing before bed to relax your body's muscles. Take care of yourself and let a doctor examine the hip to guide your recovery.
