While gentle stretching can keep the joints mobile, please do not exert the affected joint during an acute gout flare-up. Practicing deep pranayama can help relax your mind during intense pain. Keep the foot elevated and rest completely.

Haan na, that big toe pain is so sharp, even a bedsheet touching it hurts like crazy. Just apply an ice pack for 15 minutes, it really helps to reduce the swelling and numbs the area, ho na. But do check your uric acid levels soon.

I am not a doctor, but in my experience, completely cutting out red meat, spinach, and high-fructose juices has drastically reduced my gout attacks. I also drink plenty of warm water throughout the day to keep my joints happy.

Gout pain is incredibly intense, I hope you feel better. Drinking lots of water is crucial to help flush out the uric acid.

I have managed gout for four years. When an attack hits, elevate your foot above heart level and apply cold therapy. But let's be honest, you absolutely need uric-acid-lowering prescription medication from a doctor to prevent permanent joint damage.

I know how frustrating and isolating it feels when you suddenly can't walk because of joint pain. It really took a toll on my mental peace. Please don't lose heart, seek proper medical help, and take it one day at a time while your body heals.

Be very mindful of your diet as purine-rich foods are the main trigger. Avoid lentils like masoor dal, mushrooms, and cauliflower during a flare-up. Stick to low-fat dairy and plenty of water to help your body process the uric acid better.
