How to ease gerd pain?

I suffer from GERD, and often experience that burning sensation in my chest and throat, which is really uncomfortable. It also makes it hard to sleep sometimes. How can I ease GERD pain and symptoms?

I logged my triggers and found that eating within three hours of bedtime was the biggest cause of my GERD pain. Using a sleep wedge pillow to keep my head elevated at night has significantly reduced the acid reflux. Try tracking your habits to see what works.

Just got over a bad phase of acid reflux last month. What really helped me recover was stopping tea and coffee completely for two weeks and having cold milk instead. Also, eating smaller portions of food at regular intervals is a lifesaver.

Chewing half a teaspoon of fennel seeds (saunf) after meals helps soothe the acid naturally. However, if you experience difficulty swallowing, sudden weight loss, or persistent vomiting, please don't rely on home remedies and consult a doctor immediately.

Hey, don't stress too much, GERD is super common and totally manageable with small lifestyle tweaks. Just try to avoid tight clothing around your waist as it increases abdominal pressure and pushes acid up. Take it easy today!

That chest burning makes you feel so restless, actually. I used to think it was some heart issue, but it was just GERD, yaar. Avoiding carbonated drinks and spicy street food is the only way to keep it under control.

Drinking coconut water in the morning on an empty stomach is highly beneficial for soothing the esophagus lining. Also, try sleeping on your left side as studies show it physically helps prevent acid reflux. Keep consistent with these habits.
