How to ease carpal tunnel pain while pregnant?

I'm pregnant, and now I've started getting this carpal tunnel pain in my wrists, making it difficult to even hold things. It wasn't there before. Are there any safe ways to ease carpal tunnel pain during pregnancy?

I am in my third trimester and my wrists have started hurting so badly. Is it safe to use cold packs, or will it affect the baby?

This fluid retention in pregnancy causes the swelling in the wrists. Try to elevate your hands on pillows while resting and avoid sleeping on your sides if it crushes your arms.

My fingers feel completely numb every morning and I am so scared. Did anyone else experience this during pregnancy and did it go away after delivery?

Actually it's super common in the last months, yaar. Don't worry, my doctor told me it's just water weight pressing on the nerves and it completely vanished after my baby was born.

I had gestational diabetes along with wrist pain, so I had to be very careful. Watch your salt intake to reduce overall water retention, and check with your doctor.

With my thyroid fluctuation during pregnancy, the swelling in my joints was quite bad. Keep your doctor informed during your regular monthly checkups so they can monitor your fluid levels.
