How to ease calf muscle pain?

After my evening walks, my calf muscles start aching quite a bit, sometimes even cramping. It makes me dread exercising. What can I do to ease this calf muscle pain after exertion?

Beta, you can gently massage the area with warm mustard oil mixed with a little garlic. But make sure you don't apply too much pressure, and if there is any swelling or redness, please consult a doctor immediately.

Bro, my calves kill me after gym days. I just roll them out with a water bottle and drink lots of water, sometimes it's just dehydration.

My son gets these calf cramps after his football practice. I make him soak his feet in warm water with Epsom salt, and it gives him very quick relief.

Please sit quietly and do some deep breathing to help the muscles relax. Our bodies have a beautiful way of healing when we rest the mind and keep a positive outlook.

When I had persistent calf pain, my doctor told me it was due to a mild magnesium deficiency and tight hamstrings. He suggested gentle calf stretches after a warm compress and keeping hydrated, which really solved it for me.

I know how scary muscle pain can feel, especially when you start googling symptoms. Try to relax, take a warm water bath, and remember it is most likely just a simple muscle strain.
