Improving your posture and doing core strengthening exercises can help long-term. However, back pain can stem from nerve issues or disc problems, so a proper diagnosis from an orthopedician is always the safest route.

I know how depressing it gets when you can't even stand up to make a cup of tea without crying from pain. It feels like you will never get better, but please hang in there. Rest up, take warm compresses, and don't lose hope.

For regular backache, avoid sitting in deep sofas and use a straight plastic chair with a small cushion behind your lower back. Taking a quick walk every one hour of sitting also prevents the back from locking up.

This backache is making it so hard to stand and cook my favorite meals! For now, I am sitting down to chop vegetables and using a hot water bag while waiting for my food. Hopefully, some warm ginger tea will soothe things internally too.

One should never ignore back pain or try heavy stretching without a professional opinion. If there is any tingling or numbness in your legs, please visit an orthopedic doctor immediately for an X-ray or MRI.

Please go see a doctor before trying any home remedies. I thought mine was a simple strain, but it turned out to be a herniated disc that got worse because I kept doing wrong exercises. Early professional treatment is crucial.
