How to ease arthritic pain in hands?

My mother has arthritis, and lately, her hand pain has become quite bad, especially in the mornings. We've tried some balms. Are there any specific exercises or home remedies to ease arthritic pain in hands? She finds it hard to do daily chores.

Soaking your hands in warm water with Epsom salt for 10 minutes can really help reduce stiffness and ease joint pain. You can also wear compression gloves at night to keep the hands warm. If you need pain relief gels, consult your pharmacist or doctor.

I have had arthritis in my fingers for over eight years now. I find that doing very gentle hand movements in warm water every morning helps clear up the stiffness. Don't let your joints stay idle for too long, gentle movement is key.

It is so incredibly frustrating when simple things like opening a jar or typing become painful because of arthritis. I know how emotionally draining it feels to lose that ease of movement. Please be patient with yourself and take breaks.

Using an ergonomic keyboard and mouse can save your hands from extra strain during long working hours. You should also take 2-minute stretch breaks every hour to flex your fingers. Don't wait for the pain to become severe before making these changes.

Dealing with chronic conditions like PCOS teaches me that body pain can have deep systemic links. For hand arthritis, a warm compress and gentle finger squeezes on a soft stress ball help me. It's always best to get a proper checkup to find the best plan.

Eating foods rich in anti-inflammatory properties, like walnuts and flaxseeds, has helped my joints. Since I manage diabetes, I avoid processed foods that cause inflammation and spike blood sugar. Make sure to consult your dietitian too.

My grandmother has this issue, and she says holding a warm mug of tea helps her stiff fingers in the morning. Just keeping your hands warm and doing light fist stretches really seems to help. Try to avoid washing dishes with cold water.
