A tooth abscess is a serious infection that won't go away on its own and can affect your overall health. Much like keeping an eye on thyroid levels with regular tests, you need a dentist to clean out the infection properly. Don't delay your clinic visit.

An abscess is basically a pocket of pus caused by a bacterial infection, so you definitely need professional dental treatment. For temporary relief while you book an appointment, rinse your mouth with warm salt water. It helps draw out some fluid and reduces the throbbing pressure.

My mother used to tell us to hold a clove near the painful tooth to numb the area slightly. It gives some temporary comfort, but an abscess is a deep infection. Please visit a proper dentist as they might need to prescribe antibiotics or do a root canal.

Look, bro, tooth abscess is not something you can cure with home remedies or ignoring it. The infection can spread to your jaw. Go to a dentist immediately, get it drained, and take the proper medicine they give you.

A warm salt water mouth rinse 3-4 times a day is very helpful to keep the area clean and soothe the gums temporarily. But remember, this is only for comfort until you can see your doctor. A dental abscess requires proper professional care to heal.

My daughter had a severe tooth abscess last year and she couldn't sleep at all. We used a cold ice pack wrapped in a towel on her cheek, which helped calm the pain for a bit. Please call your dentist immediately for an emergency appointment.

Avoid chewing anything from that side of your mouth and stick to very soft, room-temperature vegetarian food like plain curd rice or cold custard. Hot or sweet foods will make the abscess pain shoot up instantly. Get to a dentist as soon as possible.

Ouch, tooth pain is the absolute worst! Try cold compresses on the outside of your cheek to reduce the swelling. Keeping your head elevated while resting also helps ease that throbbing sensation. Definitely see your dentist soon!
