I have lived with migraines for ten years. The moment you feel the aura or dull ache, go to a pitch-black room, apply an ice pack to the back of your neck, and take a sip of strong ginger tea. Catching it early is the only realistic way to stop it from becoming a full-blown attack.
I started tracking my migraine triggers on a health app and realized dehydration and screen glare were my biggest enemies. Now, I keep my screen on night mode, track my daily water intake, and do gentle neck stretches when I feel tension building up.
Bro, migraines are the absolute worst during exams. I just put on some noise-cancelling headphones without any music, put a cold wet cloth over my eyes, and try to sleep. Skip the coffee, it sometimes makes the throbbing way worse.
I literally just recovered from a 2-day migraine episode yesterday. What saved me was sipping warm ginger water and keeping my phone completely away. Once the nausea settled, I managed to sleep, which finally broke the pain cycle.
My head thobs so hard I feel like my brain is trying to escape. Honestly, since I barely get 5 hours of sleep, my migraine loves to visit me. The only thing that helps is pretending I don't exist in a dark room for a few hours.
I am so sorry you are going through this painful phase. Please rest your eyes, avoid looking at any screens, and try to drink some warm water. I hope the pain subsides very soon.
Migraine pain is so terrible, ho na. I just massage my temples with a little peppermint oil and shut all the windows to block the light. Honestly, a quiet room and a warm foot bath helps to soothe the nerves so much.
