How to dress infant with fever?

My 3-month-old has a mild fever, and I'm trying to make sure she's comfortable. My mother told me to keep her lightly dressed, but my aunt said to keep her covered. What's the proper way to dress an infant with a fever?

When my son was an infant, I ignored a mild fever and bundled him up too much, which made it worse before we rushed to the clinic. Please keep them in light cotton clothes and go straight to the doctor if the temperature is rising.

Seeing your tiny infant with a fever is terrifying and can make you feel completely helpless. Just dress them in one thin layer of breathable cotton to help their body temperature regulate naturally.

My sister's baby had a fever last week and we literally kept her in just a diaper and a light cotton tank top. Keeping them cool is the most important thing, so don't bundle them.

While dressing them in light cotton is the right step, you must get an infant with a fever checked by a doctor immediately. Their immune systems are very fragile, so don't wait to see if it goes away on its own.

No heavy swaddling or warm clothes now, keep them in super light cotton. Think of keeping them cool and fresh, like a light salad rather than a hot soup!
