How to dress infant for sleep?

My infant wakes up quite often at night, and I'm wondering if it's because of how I dress her. It's summer, but the AC is on sometimes. How should I dress my infant for sleep to ensure she's not too hot or too cold?

Listen, don't stress too much about the perfect sleep outfit! Just go with a basic cotton onesie and adjust according to the fan or AC speed in your room. If you are comfortable, they probably are too.

We always used soft, washed cotton hand-me-down clothes for newborn sleep. Avoid any synthetic fabrics, and a simple cotton cloth wrapped around them loosely is the best traditional way to keep them sleeping soundly.

No need to go for fancy sleep sacks from online ads. Simple cotton pajamas and a soft top are perfectly fine, just make sure there are no loose threads or tight elastics around their waist.

Do you guys also keep checking their neck to see if they are sweating in the night? I am always worried if I have put too many clothes on him, even though it's just a simple cotton romper.

I know how stressful it is to worry about SIDS and sleep safety when you have a young baby. Dressing them in just a snug cotton onesie without any loose blankets in the crib is the safest way to ensure peaceful sleep for both of you.
