How to do breast stroke in swimming?

I'm learning how to swim, and my coach told me to practice breaststroke. I'm finding it a bit difficult to coordinate the movements. Can someone give me some tips or a proper explanation of how to do breaststroke in swimming correctly?

The key to a good breaststroke is coordinating your breathing with your movement, much like pranayama. Inhale gently when your head rises above the water, and exhale slowly through your nose while gliding under. Keeping your mind calm helps you maintain a smooth, meditative rhythm.

Humare yahan talab mein jab seekhte the, toh hum isse 'mendhak chaal' (frog kick) bolte the. Just pull your hands like you are drawing a heart, and kick your legs back outward like a frog. Keep practicing daily, you will master it very easily!

Listen, don't try to kick and pull at the same time, that will just tire you out. The rule is simple: pull, breathe, kick, and then glide. Keep your fingers together and don't panic; it is all about timing, not muscle power.

I learned breaststroke in my late twenties, and it is the best exercise for joint health as you grow older. Don't rush the stroke; the magic is actually in the 'glide' phase after you kick. Just be patient with yourself and let the water hold you.

Breaststroke is the most relaxing stroke once you get the hang of it! Just remember to glide for a second after every kick to save your energy. Happy swimming!

I totally get it, coordinating the arms and legs in breaststroke can feel so confusing at first. I used to sink every time I tried to breathe! Just practice the leg kick on the side of the pool wall first before trying to put the whole stroke together.
