How to dissolve kidney stones at home?

My husband has been suffering from kidney stones for a while now, and the pain is really bad sometimes. We've heard about some home remedies but aren't sure what actually works. Can anyone tell me how to dissolve kidney stones at home, maybe with some trusted methods?

I know how stressful and scary it is when you first get diagnosed with a kidney stone. The fear of sudden pain is very real, but drink plenty of water as it is the most effective way to flush small stones. Take a deep breath, you will get through this.

My urologist explained that home methods only work for very small stones under five millimeters. Citric acid from lemons can help break down calcium-based stones, but larger stones require medical therapy or lithotripsy. Get an ultrasound to check the size before planning.

Please do not worry. Just drink plenty of clean water, coconut water, and fresh lime juice every day to help your kidneys. I hope you feel better soon.

The constant back pain from kidney stones made me so depressed and irritable for weeks. It is completely normal to feel down when dealing with this chronic discomfort. Be gentle with yourself, rest well, and keep sipping water slowly.

Drinking traditional barley water and eating radish can help cleanse the urinary tract naturally. But if you have severe fever, vomiting, or blood in your urine, do not wait at home. Those are serious signs and you must go to the hospital immediately.

I had a tiny stone last year during my exams, and it was so annoying. I literally carried a two-liter water bottle everywhere and drank lemon water twice a day. It passed in about ten days without any special medicine!

As a high blood pressure patient, I have to be very careful with my kidney health. Drinking sufficient water and reducing salt in my diet helped lower both my BP and prevented kidney stones. Keep checking your vitals and visit your doctor regularly.

Make sure you do not self-medicate with high doses of calcium or random pain relief pills at home. Just focus on high fluid intake of about three liters a day. If the pain becomes severe or unbearable, go to an emergency room for a proper drip.

I tried horse gram (kulthi daal) soup for my stones, and it really helped me pass a four millimeter stone without much pain. Boil it in water, strain it, and drink it warm. But make sure to stop if you feel any stomach irritation.

My house looked like a juice shop because my family made me drink coconut water, sugarcane juice, and lime water all day! But hey, it worked and flushed that little stone right out. Just keep drinking water and keep a restroom nearby!
