How to dislodge a kidney stone stuck in urethra?

My brother has a kidney stone, and the doctor said it's stuck in his urethra, causing him extreme pain. He is waiting for a procedure. Is there anything that can be done at home to help dislodge a kidney stone that is stuck?

I had to give up all my favorite salty snacks and spicy gravies when I had a kidney stone. If it is actually stuck in the urethra, drinking massive amounts of water might help push it, but honestly, that pain is no joke. Don't try eating or drinking heavy home cures now, just see a doctor right away.

Beta, a stone stuck in the urinary passage is a serious matter and needs careful attention. While drinking barley water or warm lemon water is good to flush minor blockages, you must not wait if there is severe pain. Go to a hospital immediately and let the doctors treat it safely.

I understand how painful and stressful urinary issues can be from my own experience with hormonal health. If a stone is actually blocked in the urethra, please do not try any forceful home remedies as it can cause internal injury. It is much safer to visit a clinic and get professional help.

Bro, if the stone is literally stuck in the urethra and you can't pass urine, do not wait at home. I had this last year and the pain was unbearable. Go straight to the emergency room, they will easily flush it out or use a simple procedure.

Please do not panic during this difficult time. Keep yourself hydrated, but if the pain is very sharp or if you see blood, please go to the nearest hospital immediately. God bless you.

In my experience, managing fluid intake is critical for both blood pressure and preventing kidney stones. However, an acute blockage in the urethra is a medical emergency that can damage your kidneys. Please visit a urologist immediately to have it safely removed.
