How to diagnose hepatitis?

A relative recently got diagnosed with hepatitis, and it made me wonder about my own health. I know there are different types, but generally, how is hepatitis diagnosed?

When my son had yellowing eyes and dark urine, we panicked. The pediatrician immediately ordered a liver function test (LFT) and hepatitis viral markers. Please get these blood tests done for a clear diagnosis.

I thought my fatigue was just work stress, but it turned out to be hepatitis. Don't ignore symptoms like nausea or dark urine. Go straight to a lab for a blood test and consult a doctor before it gets worse.

We try many things like herbal juices and resting at home, but for hepatitis, proper medical diagnosis is a must. A simple blood test will tell you exactly what type of hepatitis it is so you can get the right treatment.

I had jaundice back in the day, which is how we often noticed liver issues. The doctors will do a blood test to check your liver enzymes and look for the virus. Take rest and trust your doctor, it gets cured with time.

Do not trust anyone who says they can diagnose hepatitis by looking at your nails or face. You absolutely need specific blood tests like liver enzymes and viral serology done at a certified lab.

Please don't worry too much. A physician will easily diagnose this with a routine blood test and physical exam. Just take care and consult a doctor soon.

You can get a liver function test and hepatitis screening package at most diagnostics chains for around 1000-1500 rupees. It is better to get these tests done first and then go to a doctor with the reports to save on multiple visit charges.
