How to detox pancreas and liver?

My mother-in-law was discussing how important the liver and pancreas are for digestion and overall health. Is there a way to detoxify both the pancreas and liver?

I'm not a doctor, so I can only share my experience. For overall health, I try to eat home-cooked meals, avoid too much sugar and processed stuff, and limit alcohol. I also drink plenty of water throughout the day. I feel better when I stick to these habits, which I believe supports all my organs.

The concepts of 'detoxing' specific organs like the pancreas and liver are generally not supported by medical science. These organs naturally cleanse the body. What is crucial is to support their function through a healthy lifestyle: avoiding excessive alcohol, limiting processed foods and sugars, maintaining a healthy weight, and staying hydrated. For any health concerns, consulting a doctor is paramount.

My doctor explained that you don't really 'detox' the pancreas or liver with specific products. Instead, you support their natural function. For the pancreas, this often means limiting sugar and processed carbs to reduce strain, especially important if you have pre-diabetes or diabetes risk. For the liver, it's about avoiding alcohol, unhealthy fats, and losing weight if needed. It's a holistic, consistent approach, not a quick fix.

Detox pancreas and liver? Sounds like another diet fad that makes you miserable! Honestly, these organs do their job if you just let them. Stop loading them with junk food, alcohol, and too much sugar. Drink plain water, eat ghar ka khaana, and maybe walk a bit. That's the only 'detox' I'm doing these days, my body is tired of experiments, haha.

Beta, our bodies are made by God to clean themselves. For pancreas and liver, the best is always natural living. Eat simple, less oily food, avoid too much sweet. Drink plenty of water. Sometimes, a little bitter gourd juice is said to be good for the pancreas, but always in moderation. And consult a good vaidya or doctor if you have any serious concerns.
