How to determine lung cancer?

My husband has been coughing a lot lately and has lost some weight, making me very concerned. How is lung cancer determined? What tests do doctors typically do?

For persistent cough or breathing issues, I tried steam inhalation and ginger tea, thinking it was just a regular cold. But if it lasts too long, or you have chest pain, that's not something home remedies can fix. You absolutely need to see a doctor for a proper diagnosis like X-rays or CT scans for lung issues. Be practical, go to the doctor.

This is a serious question, and you absolutely cannot determine lung cancer on your own. Persistent cough, shortness of breath, chest pain, or unexplained weight loss are red flags. Please see a pulmonologist without delay. They will do X-rays, CT scans, and other specialized tests for a proper diagnosis. It's crucial for early detection.

Lung cancer is a very serious concern. If you're diabetic, it's even more important to be vigilant about overall health. Any persistent cough, unexplained weight loss, or difficulty breathing needs immediate medical attention. Your doctor will do specific tests, including imaging, to diagnose it correctly. This isn't about diet; it's about life.

My fitness tracker can tell me my steps, but it can't diagnose lung cancer. For that, you need serious medical intervention. If you have a persistent cough, chest pain, or are losing weight without trying, see a doctor ASAP. They'll likely order chest X-rays, CT scans, and maybe a biopsy. Don't rely on tech for this.

With thyroid issues, we are more attuned to our body's changes. If you have symptoms like a cough that won't go away, shortness of breath, or chest pain, it's imperative to consult a doctor. They will likely recommend imaging tests like a chest X-ray or CT scan, and possibly a biopsy for accurate diagnosis. Don't delay.

I totally get how terrifying it must be to even think about lung cancer. It's a huge worry. If you're experiencing a cough that won't go away, shortness of breath, or chest pain, please don't delay seeing a specialist. They have the tools and knowledge to accurately diagnose it and help you.

Beta, if you have a cough that doesn't go away for a long time, or if breathing becomes difficult, you must not ignore it. While ginger tea helps for small coughs, for something this serious, you need to go to a good doctor. They will do proper scans and tests. Don't worry, but take action quickly.

Lung cancer? Now that's not a DIY project! If you're coughing up a storm, feeling out of breath after walking a few steps, or if your chest feels like it's hosting a rock concert, drop everything and see a doctor. This isn't a headache you can just pop a pill for; it needs proper medical attention, not jokes.
