Since last few months, my scalp has become very flaky, and I have a lot of dandruff. It's so embarrassing! Are there any home remedies or natural things I can use to get rid of it completely?

Dandruff can be really annoying, I know! Don't worry, it's quite common. Try using a mix of apple cider vinegar (diluted with water) as a rinse after shampooing, once or twice a week. Also, make sure your scalp is properly clean and dry after washing. And don't scratch too much, it makes it worse.

Dandruff na, bahut irritating hota hai. What I do is, take some dahi (yogurt) and mix it with a little lemon juice, apply it on my scalp for 20-30 mins before shampoo. It really helps cool the scalp and reduce flakes. Try it, ho na?

While many home remedies exist for dandruff, if it's severe, persistent, or causes a lot of itching and redness, please see a dermatologist. Sometimes it's not just dry scalp but a fungal infection or other skin condition that needs proper medical attention. Don't ignore it, get it checked out.

Dandruff can be related to overall hygiene and even diet, believe it or not. Make sure you're getting enough essential fatty acids. Also, after a workout, always wash your hair properly to remove sweat and product buildup, as that can aggravate dandruff. Good diet and clean scalp are important.

My dermatologist advised that while home remedies can offer temporary relief, persistent dandruff often requires specific medicated shampoos containing ingredients like ketoconazole or selenium sulfide. For home care, he suggested regular, gentle washing to remove dead skin cells and using aloe vera gel or tea tree oil (diluted) on the scalp for their antifungal properties. Maintaining good scalp hygiene is key.

Girl, dandruff is the worst! What worked for me is a simple DIY hair mask: blend some fenugreek (methi) seeds that were soaked overnight, apply it to the scalp, and wash after an hour. It really reduces the flakiness and makes your hair super soft. Do it once a week!

Dandruff, common problem hai. Try warm coconut oil massage with a few drops of lemon juice before washing. Do it twice a week. And make sure you're using a mild shampoo. Sometimes just changing your shampoo helps. If not working, then go to a doctor, simple.

Our body's balance reflects on our skin and hair. For dandruff, I've found applying neem oil diluted with coconut oil to the scalp, leaving it overnight, and then washing it with a gentle herbal shampoo is very effective. Also, calming pranayama can help reduce stress, which sometimes contributes to such issues.
