Beta, when I used to make tomato soup for my children, I'd always add a little bit of fresh cream or a spoonful of milk right at the end. It takes away the sharp tang instantly. Sometimes, even a small piece of jaggery or a pinch of baking soda can do the trick without changing the taste much.

For vegetarian options without adding dairy, blending in some soaked cashews or even a little bit of cooked sweet potato can add creaminess and reduce acidity. I also make sure to use really ripe tomatoes, they are naturally less acidic. Avoid overcooking the tomatoes initially as that can sometimes increase the tang.

Oh, tomato soup acidity! I always worry if I'll get heartburn after having it. What I've found helps is sautéing a lot of onions and carrots with the tomatoes. They become sweet and balance it out. And don't forget to season properly, sometimes blandness makes acidity feel worse.

Girl, same problem! What I do is add a tiny pinch of baking soda, like literally a pinch, while it's simmering. It neutralizes the acid without changing the taste. Or, if I have time, I'll roast the tomatoes before making the soup. Roasting brings out their sweetness and reduces the tartness. So good!

I'm also curious about this. I usually just add a lot of croutons, haha. But seriously, does adding just a tiny bit of plain yogurt work too, or will it curdle? I heard some people do that for curries.

To naturally reduce acidity, try using very ripe red tomatoes and cook them slowly. A small amount of pureed carrot or pumpkin can also add sweetness and body. If you're constantly struggling with acidity even after making these changes, it's always wise to consult a doctor, just to rule out any underlying issues.

Hey, don't stress too much about it! It's super common. Just add a tiny bit of fresh cream or a swirl of plain yogurt at the end. Or even a small cube of processed cheese, it melts in and makes it so smooth and less tangy. You got this!

When you have thyroid issues, even small dietary changes can make a difference in how you feel. For tomato soup, try adding a small amount of grated beetroot; it gives a nice color and natural sweetness. Always keep track of how different foods affect you, and discuss with your doctor during your regular check-ups.

Tomato soup is pure comfort food, yaar! Don't let acidity ruin it. My secret is a small spoonful of fresh cream, or if you want it dairy-free, a touch of coconut milk. It adds a lovely richness and cuts the sharp edge. Perfect for those rainy day cravings!

Acidity in tomato soup? My stomach has a PhD in complaining about that! Honestly, a little bit of butter or cream does wonders. Or if you're feeling fancy, some good quality Parmesan cheese. Who cares about calories when your tastebuds are happy, right? 😉
