How to cure sciatica back pain?

My lower back pain has started to shoot down my leg, and it's making it almost impossible to sit or stand for long. Someone told me it sounds like sciatica. How can I get rid of this sciatica back pain for good?

Please, if it's sciatica, do NOT ignore it. I thought it was just regular back pain and kept pushing through. It got so bad I couldn't walk without severe pain. Ended up needing prolonged physiotherapy. Get it checked by a doctor or orthopaedic specialist ASAP. Early intervention is key.

Sciatica ka dard bahut dukhdaayak hota hai beta. Gungune tel ki malish, jaise sarson ya til ka tel, thoda aaram de sakta hai. Aur garam paani se sekna bhi acha hai. Lekin yeh sab bas shuru mein, agar dard zyada ho, toh doctor ko zaroor dikhao. Yeh nerve ka masla hai, usko हल्के mein nahi lena chahiye.

Sciatica sounds like a pain that would make you want to just lie in bed and order all the comfort food! But seriously, I guess eating anti-inflammatory foods like turmeric and ginger might help a bit. And definitely no heavy lifting, means no lifting heavy biryani pots!

Sciatica? I'm not sure what that is, but back pain sounds terrible. Is it very different from regular back pain? Can simple stretches help, or is it more serious than that?

Sciatica can be a long-term issue if not treated properly, which can mean lots of expensive physio sessions or even injections. It's better to get a proper diagnosis from an orthopaedic doctor or neurologist early on. Don't just try home remedies for too long; a good scan (like MRI) might be needed to see the nerve issue clearly, plan for that expense.
