How to cure braces pain?

I just got my braces on last week, and the pain is so much, especially when I eat. It's really hard to adjust. Is there anything I can do to make it hurt less?

Oh, braces pain is real! My friend tracked her pain levels on an app. She found eating soft foods (like smoothies or mashed potatoes) helped a lot. Also, using orthodontic wax on any poking wires was a lifesaver. And sometimes, just a mild pain reliever after her orthodontist visit.

Didi, braces pain is normal when they tighten it. Don't worry too much. Khichdi khao, ya dahi bhat. Kuch hard mat khana. Aur doctor ne jo painkiller diya hai, wo le lo. Thode din ki baat hai, theek ho jayega.

Hey, don't stress too much about braces pain, it's super common! Just eat soft stuff for a few days, like ice cream or curd rice. And use that wax your orthodontist gave you if anything is poking. A mild painkiller like paracetamol can also help take the edge off. It gets better, I promise!

I had braces for years, so I know the pain is real! I can't give medical advice, but from my experience, sticking to very soft foods for a couple of days after an adjustment, and using the orthodontic wax for any sharp bits, helped me a lot. Also, an over-the-counter painkiller sometimes. Just hang in there, it gets better!

Ho na, braces pain can be quite bad, especially after adjustment. Mere liye toh, garam paani mein namak daal ke gargle karna thoda relief deta tha. Aur ice cream khao, that feels nice! But soft food for sure, haan na.
