How to cover up a fever blister with makeup?

My husband's niece's wedding is coming up, and I've got this ugly fever blister on my lip. I really want to look my best. Could someone tell me how to cover up a fever blister with makeup so it's completely hidden?

If you are going out for a run or workout, try to avoid putting heavy makeup on the blister as sweat can irritate it further. Just use a simple medicated lip balm with sun protection to shield it. If your doctor allows regular outdoor exercise, the fresh air and movement will actually help boost your immunity to fight off the virus.

When my thyroid levels are off, my immunity drops and I often get these painful fever blisters. While a bit of green color corrector and concealer can hide the redness for a few hours, please don't ignore frequent flare-ups. Make sure you get your regular thyroid panel and blood tests done, and consult your doctor.

Don't worry too much about how it looks, we all get these sometimes when we are run down. If you really need to use makeup, make sure you apply a healing ointment first as a barrier so the cosmetics don't get trapped in the open sore. Use disposable cotton buds to apply anything, and throw them away immediately to keep it safe.

Dude, I got one right before my college fest and was so conscious. My sister helped me dab a tiny bit of her matte concealer on it using a cotton bud. Honestly, from a distance, no one could even tell it was there, just don't touch it or pick at it during the day!

Haan, these blisters are so annoying, especially right before a party, na! What I do is apply a tiny bit of soothing primer first, then gently tap a high-coverage concealer over it using a clean Q-tip. Just make sure you don't rub it, otherwise the skin will peel and look worse.

At my age, I honestly don't have the patience for elaborate makeup routines, but a fever blister can look quite angry! I just use a tiny bit of lacto calamine or a medicated cream to dry it out, which naturally reduces the redness. If I must hide it, a tiny dab of powder foundation does the job well enough.
