How to cover up a fever blister on lip?

Got a fever blister on my lip right before my college fest, yaar! It's making me feel so conscious. How can I properly cover up a fever blister on my lip so it's not noticeable?

Haan na, these blisters are so annoying and always pop up when you have to go for some function! I usually put a tiny, transparent cold sore patch from the chemist over it. That way the blister is hidden and protected from dust also, ho na.

If you are heading out for your daily walk, just dab a little zinc oxide cream or petroleum jelly to keep the wind from drying it out. If your doctor allows, light outdoor exercise is great for your immunity, which helps clear these viral blisters faster. Just avoid sharing your water bottles or gym towels while you have it.

I was actually researching this because my college roommate gets these frequently before exams. I read that applying ice wrapped in a cloth early on can reduce the swelling, making it much easier to hide. Has anyone tried those special medicated patches that you can wear under lipstick?

Don't worry, it's just a temporary blister and will go away in a few days! You can put a tiny dab of gentle liquid concealer using a clean cotton swab to hide the redness. Keep smiling and don't let it ruin your day!

Instead of buying expensive cosmetics to hide a fever blister, a simple doctor-approved acyclovir ointment costs very little at any local chemist. It treats the root cause so the blister disappears in 3-4 days instead of lingering for a week. Plan ahead and keep one in your home first-aid kit so you can use it at the very first tingle.
