How to cook liver and onions in the oven?

I prefer baking things to reduce oil, and I want to try cooking liver and onions in the oven. Is it possible to make it tender and flavorful this way? What are the temperature and time recommendations?

I always get so worried about undercooked meat, so baking liver makes me anxious. But if you slice the liver thinly, toss it with onions, a little oil, and bake at 180C for about 15-20 minutes, it should cook safely. Just keep checking it so it doesn't get dry.

Hey! I tried this last week. I mixed the liver and onions with some mustard paste and a bit of curd, then baked it in a preheated oven. It came out so juicy and didn't smell strong at all!

Baking is a great way to use less oil, and you can add some garlic and rosemary for a nice natural aroma. However, if you are eating this specifically to treat persistent fatigue or low hemoglobin, please get your blood checked by a doctor instead of just trying home remedies.

Be careful with baking times because dry, over-baked liver can cause severe indigestion. I had massive stomach cramps once after eating overcooked liver. If you have a sensitive gut, talk to a doctor before eating rich organ meats.

Buying liver is actually very pocket-friendly compared to chicken breasts. Cooking it in the oven is easy, just arrange it on a tray with sliced onions and bake. Save your money for important health tests rather than expensive diet supplements.

Honestly, using the oven means fewer pots to wash, which is a blessing for my tired back! Just cover the dish with foil while baking so the liver doesn't turn into a hard leather shoe. It stays nice and steam-cooked that way.

I log my meals on my fitness tracker, and oven-baked liver is a great way to keep fats low. Just layer the sliced onions at the bottom of a baking dish, put the liver on top, spray a tiny bit of olive oil, and bake. It keeps the macros absolutely perfect.
