How to cook liver?

My doctor suggested I add more iron to my diet, and someone told me liver is a good source. I've never cooked it before. How do I even start preparing liver for eating?

Cooking food with gentle awareness is very important. When cooking liver, do not overcook it as it becomes tough and hard to digest. Cook it on a low flame with light spices so its natural nourishment remains intact.

We have eaten this for decades to keep our strength up. The trick is to wash it thoroughly and cut it into very small, thin pieces. It cooks in just 10 to 12 minutes in a simple kadhai, no need to pressure cook it to death.

Oh, kaleji fry is absolute heaven with hot parathas! I love to marinate it in dahi, ginger-garlic paste, and lime juice for 30 minutes before cooking. It makes the pieces so incredibly soft and juicy.

I started eating liver to cure my severe anemia, but it upset my stomach badly. Please consult a doctor or a clinical dietician before making major dietary changes, especially if you have existing health issues.

I eat liver occasionally for the iron, but I am very careful about the oil and heavy gravies because of my blood sugar and cholesterol levels. I just stir fry it with some garlic, green chillies, and a tiny bit of olive oil. Keep checking your levels if you are trying new heavy proteins.

Even though I am vegetarian, my nutritionist told me that liver is extremely high in Vitamin A and iron. If you are cooking it, please don't eat it daily as too much Vitamin A isn't good either. Moderation is key.

Boss, if you overcook liver, it will taste like rubber. Wash it nicely, drain all the water, and pan-fry it with simple onions and black pepper. Ten minutes and you are done, don't make it complicated.

I want to cook this for my dad who is recovering from weakness, but I am a bit scared of the smell. Does soaking it in milk for a bit actually help remove that strong smell? Pls let me know if anyone has tried it.
