If you don't soak them, you must pressure cook the kidney beans for at least 45 to 50 minutes on medium heat. This is very important because undercooked kidney beans contain lectins that can irritate your stomach lining and cause indigestion.
According to cooking charts on my health app, unsoaked kidney beans take about 45 minutes in an Instant Pot on high pressure. Make sure to add enough water, about 4 cups of water for every cup of dried beans, so they don't dry out.

When cooking them unsoaked, just wash them thoroughly and use your pressure cooker for about 40 minutes on medium-high. It works fine for my meal preps when I'm in a rush to meet my daily macro targets.
Beta, cooking without soaking can make the beans very heavy for the stomach. If you must cook them this way, always add a generous pinch of hing (asafoetida) and lots of fresh ginger while boiling to help prevent gastric pain.
