How to cook green beans for diabetics cajun seasoning?

My husband has diabetes, and we're trying to add more vegetables to his diet. Someone suggested green beans with Cajun seasoning, but I'm worried about the spices and oil for his health. How can I make it diabetes-friendly?

I completely understand how stressful it is to worry about every single seasoning and food choice when managing blood sugar. Green beans are actually very safe, and Cajun seasoning is fine as long as it has no added sugar. Just toss them in a little olive oil with the spices and roast them.

Haan na, finding tasty diabetic recipes is so difficult! You can just boil the beans slightly and then saute them with Cajun spices. It gives a very nice chatpata taste, ho na, and doesn't spike sugar at all.

Who said diabetic food has to be sad and boiled? Just dry roast those green beans with Cajun seasoning in a pan. It tastes like fancy restaurant food, but without the heart-attack levels of butter!

Beta, green beans are very good for health. If you are using foreign spices like Cajun, just check the packet to ensure there is no hidden sugar or excess sodium. Always cook them with a little garlic, as it is very good for managing blood pressure.

You can simply steam the green beans and toss them with Cajun seasoning and a few drops of olive oil. It is safe, healthy, and very easy to prepare.

I am new to cooking for my diabetic father and haven't used Cajun seasoning before. Does it usually contain a lot of salt? I want to make sure it won't affect his blood pressure along with his blood sugar.

Listen, don't overthink this. Just buy fresh beans, chop them up, stir-fry in a non-stick pan with minimal oil, and sprinkle the Cajun seasoning at the end. It's healthy, fast, and does the job without any fuss.
