Whenever my kids start vomiting, I give them small sips of ORS water or light coconut water to prevent dehydration. Don't force them to eat heavy food right away. Just let their stomach rest for a couple of hours first.

Don't just keep trying home remedies if the vomiting is severe or continuous. It can lead to dangerous dehydration very quickly. It is always better to get checked by a doctor who can prescribe proper anti-vomiting medicine.

Vomiting can be caused by food poisoning, acidity, or even viral infections. It is best to consult a general physician to get a proper diagnosis rather than self-treating with over-the-counter pills. Keep sipping water in the meantime.

You can try chewing on a small piece of ginger or sniffing fresh lemon to ease the nausea. However, if you are unable to keep even water down or if there is blood in the vomit, please visit a clinic immediately.

Avoid spicy and oily food completely when your stomach is upset. Plain rice water or a cup of warm ginger tea can help soothe the irritation. Keep yourself in a well-ventilated room and take rest.

Keep your diet extremely light after an episode of vomiting. Plain curd rice or boiled potatoes with a pinch of salt are very gentle on the stomach. Avoid any dairy like milk or heavy fats until you feel completely recovered.

At this age, even a slightly heavy dinner makes me feel nauseous the next day. I just stick to simple khichdi and take a rest. If the stomach refuses to cooperate, I just visit my family doctor instead of playing hero.

I had a bad bout of food poisoning last month and kept throwing up. The doctor told me not to eat solid food for a few hours and stick to electrolytes. Taking small, frequent sips of water instead of drinking a whole glass at once really helps.

Over the years, I have seen that resting the stomach is the best cure for occasional vomiting. Don't worry, just stay hydrated with salted lime water. If it does not stop by evening, a visit to the doctor is the wisest choice.

When my mother had severe vomiting, we took her to the local hospital and they gave her an injection to stop it. It is always safer to ask a doctor clearly about the dosage of anti-emetic medications rather than guessing.

Look, if you have vomited more than three times today, stop searching online and go to a doctor. Continuous vomiting drains your body's salts very fast. Drink ORS for now and get yourself checked properly.

First, take a deep breath and sit down under a fan. Sip some cold water very slowly to wet your throat. If you feel dizzy or have severe stomach pain along with the vomiting, let's get you checked by a doctor right away, don't ignore it.
