Gentle butterfly pose and child's pose are beautiful ways to release tension in the pelvic area during periods. Combine this with slow deep breathing to help relax the uterine muscles. It has helped me reduce reliance on painkillers significantly.

I started tracking my cycle on an app and realized my cramps are worse when I have high sodium foods the week before. Now I get alerts to reduce salt and increase water intake beforehand, and my periods have become much more manageable.

Listen, don't stress too much about getting things done today. Just grab a hot water bag, drink some ginger tea, and take a long nap. The world won't end if you take a break for one day, okay?

Treat this time as a natural period of rest and purification for your body. Try to stay positive, listen to soft music, and let your body heal itself without rushing back to chores. Take care of your spirit.

I totally understand how frustrating this monthly pain is. I drink warm turmeric milk with a little ghee during my heavy days, and it genuinely helps soothe the internal ache. Give it a try, it is very comforting.

Sometimes the pain is so intense I worry if it is something serious like endometriosis. But usually a warm bath helps calm things down. If you ever feel the pain is too unusual, please talk to a doctor just to be completely safe.

Over the years, I have seen that simple ginger and ajwain tea works best for moderate spasms. Avoid cold water and heavy fried foods during these days because they cause gas, which makes the cramps feel even worse.
