How to control gallbladder pain?

I've been experiencing sharp pains in my upper abdomen, and the doctor thinks it might be related to my gallbladder. The pain is quite severe when it hits. How can I control or reduce gallbladder pain when it occurs?

Honestly, that pain kept me up until 3 AM last night and no amount of turning around helped. Do yourself a favor and don't try to sleep it off if it's severe, just get medical help so you can actually get some sleep!

I manage high BP and also had gallbladder issues earlier. I realized that oily and heavy fatty foods trigger both blood pressure spikes and sudden gallbladder pain. Please get an ultrasound done to check for stones and consult a doctor.

Look, gallbladder pain is not normal gas acidity that you can ignore. Stop searching for tips online, go to a good clinic and get a scanning done. If it's a stone, the doctor will guide you on the next steps.

Bro, if it's actual gallbladder pain, home remedies won't fix it if there are stones. I had to get an ultrasound done and my doctor told me surgery was the only permanent fix. Get it checked before the pain gets unbearable.

I tried drinking apple cider vinegar and warm water for my mild attacks, which sometimes helped ease the discomfort. But honestly, if the pain is sharp and radiating to your back, home remedies won't help and you need a doctor.

If you get pain during work hours, avoid heavy lunch completely and drink warm water. But don't delay a proper doctor's visit; book an online consultation or visit a clinic over the weekend to get a proper diagnosis.

I panicked so badly when I first got this sharp pain, thinking it was something life-threatening. It turned out to be mild biliary colic, and after avoiding oily food and taking prescribed meds, I felt completely fine. Don't stress too much, just consult a specialist.

Did anyone else feel a sharp pain in the upper right side of the stomach that goes all the way to the right shoulder? I am so worried it might be gallbladder stones. Please tell me if this requires immediate emergency care.

Do not trust anyone telling you that drinking oils or doing 'gallbladder flushes' will dissolve stones. That is highly dangerous and can block your bile duct. Go to a certified gastroenterologist and get proper medical advice.

I was just reading up on this because my uncle had it. Apparently, eating a very low-fat diet is the best way to prevent attacks while you are waiting for a doctor's appointment. Hope you feel better soon.
