How to control a fatty liver?

My recent medical check-up showed I have a fatty liver, and I'm worried about it. What steps can I take to control or reverse this condition?

Cut out alcohol, white sugar, and deep-fried junk immediately. There's no shortcut here; you need at least 40 minutes of daily cardio and a strict calorie deficit to reverse a fatty liver.

I was diagnosed with Grade 2 fatty liver six months ago. By completely replacing refined carbs with high-fiber foods and walking 10k steps daily, my ultrasound reports just came back completely clear last week.

Please do not ignore fatty liver as a minor issue. My husband's condition progressed to liver fibrosis because we delayed consulting a specialist. Go see a gastroenterologist and get regular blood tests done.

I completely agree with cutting down on sugar. Reducing commercial bakery items and sweets helped my liver enzymes return to normal very quickly.

It can feel overwhelming to change your whole lifestyle, but take it step by step. Just focus on drinking more water and avoiding processed foods for a start.

Drinking warm water with fresh lemon juice in the morning is highly beneficial for liver health. However, if you experience severe abdominal pain, extreme fatigue, or yellowing of the eyes, please rush to a doctor immediately.
