How to confirm someone has rheumatod arthritis?

My mother has been complaining about joint pain and stiffness, especially in her hands, for a few months now. Her fingers also look a little swollen sometimes. How can we confirm if she has rheumatoid arthritis?

I have been managing Rheumatoid Arthritis for over ten years now. You cannot confirm this just by looking at joint pain; you must see a rheumatologist. They will order specific blood tests like Rheumatoid Factor (RF), Anti-CCP, and ESR, along with X-rays of the affected joints. Early diagnosis is the key to preventing joint damage.

My aunt was experiencing severe joint stiffness, especially in the mornings, which made it hard for her to even hold her morning cup of chai. She got it confirmed through blood tests and a visit to a specialist. Now she's focusing on an anti-inflammatory diet, though she still sneaks in a little street food occasionally!

Actually, you should not delay this yaar, because joint stiffness can get really bad. My mother went through this and we had to get a proper Rheumatoid Factor test done at a lab. It is always better to consult a specialist doctor directly rather than searching symptoms online and getting scared.

I was diagnosed with RA last year after months of waking up with extremely stiff hands. My rheumatologist confirmed it through an Anti-CCP antibody test and joint ultrasounds. Finding the right medication has completely changed my life, so please get a proper clinical checkup as soon as possible.

When my joints started aching years ago, I thought it was just old age catching up with me, but it turned out to be rheumatoid arthritis. Don't worry, with modern medicines, it is very manageable now. Get the blood tests and joint scans done as prescribed by a doctor, and you will find the right way to manage it.
