Sleeping next to your little one is a beautiful blessing that builds a strong spiritual bond. Just make sure the environment is calm, safe, and free of heavy blankets. Stay positive and cherish these precious early days.

Because of my nighttime diabetes routine and monitoring, we decided to use a separate co-sleeping cot attached to our bed side. It kept the baby safe while allowing my wife to feed easily without disturbances.

Haan, co-sleeping is very common in Indian families na. Just keep the baby on a firm mattress and don't use heavy pillows or rajais around the newborn to avoid any risk of suffocation.

Humare yahan toh bache ko humesha maa ke paas hi sulate hain taaki raat ko doodh pilane mein aasaani ho. Bas dhyaan rakhein ki bistar bahut naram na ho aur bacha beech mein rahe.

Getting sound sleep is vital to manage blood pressure, which gets tough with a newborn. If you are co-sleeping, make sure the bed is large enough so everyone can rest comfortably and safely without stress.

Co-sleeping makes nighttime feeding so much easier. Just ensure the surface is flat and firm without any soft bedding.

Sleeping with a newborn means you get about 2 inches of space at the corner of your own bed. Just make sure the mattress is rock hard and you don't fall off the side while the baby sleeps like a king in the center.

For safe co-sleeping, never sleep with the baby if you have taken any medication that makes you drowsy. The mattress must be firm, and the baby should always be placed on their back to sleep.

Managing post-pregnancy thyroid issues while sleep-deprived is very tough. If you choose to co-sleep, make sure you discuss safe sleep guidelines with your pediatrician during your regular baby checkups.

Newborns wake up every two hours for feed, ho na. We kept a small bedside bassinet right next to our bed level. It feels like sleeping together but keeps the baby completely safe from any accidental rolling.

I monitored our room temperature and humidity using a smart sensor to ensure it was comfortable for the baby. If you co-sleep, make sure the room is not too hot as newborns overheat very quickly.

I am expecting my first baby next month and I am thoda scared about co-sleeping. Is it safer to use a separate crib, or do most Indian parents just sleep in the same bed? Any advice on safe setups would really help me.

I was constantly paranoid about rolling over my baby in my sleep, so I barely slept at all! If you are co-sleeping, please ensure there are no loose sheets, soft toys, or heavy blankets near the baby's face. It is always better to be extra cautious.

We co-slept with both our kids using a firm king-size bed and zero heavy covers. I always slept on the outer side and my wife slept between me and the baby. It worked perfectly and safely for us.
