How to clean your liver fast?

I'm trying to kickstart a healthier lifestyle and was told that a quick liver clean-up can be beneficial. What are some effective ways to clean your liver fast, or at least feel like you're giving it a boost quickly?

Beta, there is no 'fast' way to clean the liver, it takes time. You can drink warm water with a little turmeric and amla juice in the morning, which helps digestion. But don't try any harsh fasts or herbs without asking a proper Vaidya or doctor.

Please don't fall for quick detox drinks sold online. When my husband had liver issues, we went to a specialist who told us these quick cleanses can actually cause more harm. Get a simple LFT blood test done and show it to a proper doctor.

Take it easy on yourself. Just drinking warm water, resting well, and eating light khichdi for a few days will help your body recover. Your health will get better step by step.

Biologically, the liver doesn't work on a 3-day or 5-day cycle, it needs continuous care. Cut out alcohol, processed sugar, and oily foods immediately to give it a break. If you have yellow eyes or extreme fatigue, skip the home remedies and go to a clinic.

I tried a fast 'herbal liver detox' juice last year and ended up with severe abdominal pain and jaundice. The doctor scolded me and said the liver cleans itself if you eat right. Please do not self-treat, see a medical professional.

I completely understand the panic when you feel your liver might be struggling, I have been there too. But rushing into 'fast' remedies will only stress you out more. Just focus on clean, home-cooked food and consult a doctor to put your mind at ease.
