How to clean asthma spacer?

I use an asthma spacer for my medication, and I know it's important to keep it clean. What's the best method to clean an asthma spacer properly? Should I boil it or just wash it?

I totally get it, managing asthma can feel like such a daily chore. To clean the spacer, just pull the backpiece off, soak it in warm soapy water for 15 minutes, and then rinse. Let it air dry naturally so it doesn't build up any static electricity inside.

Bro, I use one daily. Just take it apart, soak it in lukewarm water with liquid soap, and rinse it under the tap. Never use a cloth to dry the inside, just leave it on a clean rack to dry on its own. If you wipe it, the medicine will stick to the walls next time.

Please don't ignore cleaning it regularly, as a dirty spacer can cause thrush or lung infections. I once neglected my inhaler hygiene and ended up with a severe chest infection that put me in the hospital. Wash it once a week and get your breathing checked by your doc regularly.

Haan na, dirty spacer use karne se thoda unsafe ho jata hai clean rakhna bahut zaroori hai. Mild liquid soap use karo aur clean water se rinse karke side me rakh do completely dry hone ke liye. Sukhe kapde se ponchne ki galti mat karna bas.

I tried various ways to clean my grandson's spacer, even using vinegar once, but plain warm water with a tiny bit of baby wash is the safest way. Make sure you do this once a week. It keeps the plastic clean and free of any medicine residue without using harsh chemicals.

I keep a weekly recurring reminder on my health app to wash my spacer. Just wash it in mild soapy water, don't scrub or wipe it, and let it air dry overnight. Keeping it clean ensures you get the exact dosage your doctor prescribed without any loss.
