How to check tb skin test?
I'm planning to travel abroad for work, and they require a TB skin test. I've never had one before. How exactly is a TB skin test checked or interpreted after it's been administered?

Bhai, skin test check karne ke liye 48 se 72 ghante baad doctor ke paas hi jana padta hai. Wo jo injection lagate hain na skin pe, wahan agar red color ka hard bump ban jaye toh test positive mana jata hai.

I had this test done last year. After they inject the liquid in your forearm, you must not scratch or put any band-aid on it. Go back to the lab exactly on the 3rd day so the technician can measure the bump's hardness with a ruler.

Please do not try to measure the skin test bump yourself with a regular scale at home. Only a trained healthcare worker can accurately check the induration and tell if it is positive or negative. Go to your clinic on time.

I got the Mantoux test done for my visa. They inject a tiny bit of fluid under your skin, and it bubbles up. You have to go back to the doctor after 2 days, and they check the size of the raised hard spot, not the redness.
