How to check mental health?

Lately, I've been feeling very stressed and anxious, and my mood swings are all over the place. My friend suggested I should check my mental health. What are some ways to understand if I'm doing okay mentally, or if I need help?

Honestly, I just track my sleep and irritation levels. Whenever I start snapping at my friends or skipping the gym for days, I know my mental health is tanking. Writing down my thoughts on my phone really helps me catch it early.

Actually yaar, there is no simple test for this. I just check how my mind feels on a Sunday night. If I am feeling too anxious about the week or constantly feeling exhausted even without doing much, I take it as a sign to slow down and talk to a therapist.

Just sit quietly for five minutes and observe your breath and thoughts. If your mind is running like a wild horse with constant worry, it needs a little rest and meditation. Stay positive, keep your heart light, and take good care of your mental peace.

Beta, check if you are eating on time and sleeping peacefully at night. When our mind is heavy, we stop enjoying simple things like talking to family or sitting in the courtyard. If you feel sad inside for many days, please share your heart with someone you trust.

Hey, don't stress too much about finding a perfect scale to measure it. Just ask yourself how often you are genuinely smiling these days. If you feel burnt out or constantly low, it is totally fine to take a break and seek professional help from a counselor.
