How to check malaria?

It's monsoon season here and a lot of people in my area are getting malaria. I've been feeling a bit feverish and weak. What are the common symptoms and how can I check if I actually have malaria?

To accurately diagnose malaria, you must get a blood test, specifically a peripheral blood smear or a rapid diagnostic test (RDT). While fever and chills are common indicators, a proper laboratory test is essential for starting the correct treatment. Please consult a doctor immediately.

Getting a malaria blood test early is actually much cheaper than delaying it and needing hospital care. A basic malaria rapid test or slide test is very affordable at any local lab. Get it done quickly so you can plan the right treatment.

When I had malaria, the fever came in cycles with intense shivering and sweating. In my experience, waiting it out is a mistake. Go straight to a lab and ask for a malaria parasite (MP) test; getting the results fast is key to starting the right medicine.

Hey, don't stress too much, but if you have a high fever with shivering, it's really important to get checked. Just head to a nearby lab or clinic for a quick malaria blood test. It's super fast, and you'll know exactly what to do next!

My elders always advise resting and drinking warm fluids during a fever, but for suspected malaria, they emphasize getting a blood test right away. Please visit a local clinic to get a proper malaria antigen test done rather than waiting.

Don't try to treat high fever with random home remedies or assume it's just a common cold. Malaria can escalate quickly, and only a professional blood smear test at a certified lab can confirm it. Get tested and verified by a doctor.
