I always get so worried when I feel hot but don't have a thermometer nearby. You can try touching your forehead with the back of your hand, or check if your chest and back feel unusually warm compared to your hands. But please get a proper thermometer soon so you don't keep stressing.
For me, the biggest sign of a fever is when even my favorite butter chicken tastes completely bland and bitter! If your tongue feels dry and you have zero appetite, your body temperature is probably up. Try to rest and have some simple hot soup.
My grandmother used to check by touching the inside of our wrists to see if the pulse felt too fast and hot. It's a comforting family way to guess, but for proper confirmation and safety, we should always use a digital thermometer or consult a doctor.
Bina thermometer ke exact temperature nahi pata chalega, boss. Touch karke sirf andaza laga sakte ho ki badan garm hai ya nahi. Chills lag rahe hain ya thakan hai toh chup-chap aaram karo aur medical store se ek thermometer mangwa lo.
When you don't have a thermometer, look for other signs like burning eyes, body aches, shivering, and flushed cheeks. Your skin will also feel dry and hot to the touch. These are classic indicators that your body is fighting something off, so rest up.
