How to check diabetes in home?

My dad has diabetes, and I've been feeling a bit tired lately, plus thirsty a lot. Is there any way to check for diabetes at home before going to the doctor?

Honestly, for diabetes, don't trust some random internet home remedies to 'check' it. You can't diagnose diabetes accurately at home without proper medical tools. If you suspect it because of symptoms like frequent urination or excessive thirst, the only way is to get proper blood tests done by a lab or doctor. Please verify with a medical professional.

If you're worried about diabetes, it's good to be aware. While you can't fully diagnose it at home, noticing symptoms like being very thirsty, tired, or having to pee a lot can be indicators. It's best to talk to a doctor about these things.

From my experience, the first step is to recognize the common symptoms: increased thirst, frequent urination, unexplained weight loss, fatigue, blurry vision. If you have these, you must get a blood sugar test done. You can buy a glucometer for home use to monitor, but for diagnosis, always go to a lab for an fasting blood sugar (FBS) and HbA1c test. That's the real deal.

Dude, if you're feeling super thirsty all the time or keep running to the washroom, that could be a sign. My uncle got diabetes and these were his first signs. You can't really 'check' it at home home, like, properly. Best to just visit a doc, they'll do a blood test. Don't stress too much though!

As someone with PCOS, I know how confusing health symptoms can be and how scary it is to think about related conditions like diabetes. While you can look out for classic symptoms, true diagnosis needs blood tests. Please consult a doctor; they can guide you best on what tests are needed, like an HbA1c or fasting glucose. Don't try to self-diagnose completely.
